Southeast District - Ramblewood Garden Club

The Ramblewood Garden Club and the Cape Girardeau Council of Garden Clubs presented a Citation of Commendation to Dan Muser, Director of the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation; Brock Davis, Parks Manager; and the Employees of the Parks and Recreation Department. The Citation recognizes the valuable help Mr. Muser, Mr. Davis and the Park Employees have given to maintain the beauty of the Capaha Park Rose Garden, the adjoining Butterfly Garden and Azalea Garden. The Parks and Recreation Department under the guidance of Director Dan Muser have been instrumental in making improvements to the Rose Garden, including labor for building the entrance arbor, fencing, shed repair, water drainage for the azalea garden and summer lawn maintenance. The Cape Girardeau Council of Garden Clubs and the Ramblewood Garden Club presented the Citations with gratefulness and thankfulness to the individuals of the Parks and Recreation Department for their continuing support of their efforts to make the Rose Garden a place of peace and beauty for the citizens of Cape Girardeau.
